What You Need to Know About the COVID-19 Vaccine

Vaccines are crucial in fighting deadly infectious diseases. While these vaccines are being developed as quickly as possible, routine processes and procedures ensure the safety of any vaccine that is authorized or approved for use. The COVID-19 vaccine is an important tool to help stop the pandemic.

Beginning on May 25th the Florida Department of Health in Broward County (DOH) will be operating a walk-in vaccination site at NSU, open to all. This free vaccination site is open to all Broward County residents 12 years of age and older. The Pfizer vaccine will be offered.

  • Location: The site is located at Rolling Hills 7901 Suite 206
  • Hours of Operation: Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and  Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.

NOTE: If you received your first dose of Pfizer at the NSU Vaccination Site, you can obtain your second dose at the DOH site located at Rolling Hills 7901.
